About Erin
Erin McCarthy is a trail runner, yoga teacher, and nutrition educator who helps people feel better in their bodies by getting to the root of what’s not working, especially when it comes to digestion, energy, and inflammation. She takes a real-food, bio-individual approach to nutrition, helping clients understand what their bodies need to thrive. Whether it’s resolving digestive issues, rebuilding microbial diversity, or helping clients finally understand what works for their body, Erin combines practical tools with deep knowledge to guide lasting change.
Erin’s path to wellness wasn’t linear; it was lived. Digestive issues, chronic bloating, inflammation, and injury taught her that there’s no one-size-fits-all plan. She spent years following vegetarian and vegan diets, only to discover her body needed something different. After tuning into her body’s signals and gradually reintroducing animal-based foods, Erin found healing, energy, and balance she hadn’t experienced in years. Today, she helps others navigate their own paths with a deeply bio-individual (unique to you!) approach to nourishment, movement, and recovery.

Erin found running later in life and was instantly drawn to the freedom and joy it brought. From her first “Women Can Run” clinic to running Western States 100 in 2022, she’s been all-in. She is the former President of the Sierra TrailBlazers Running Club and remains a passionate advocate for movement, connection, and time on the trails.

In balance with her driven nature, Erin also honors the quieter side of life. A devoted yoga practitioner and yin yoga teacher, she creates space for stillness, breath, and reconnection, in both her own life and the classes she leads. Whether on the mat or the mountain, Erin brings a presence that helps others feel both grounded and uplifted.

Outside of work, you’ll find her on forest trails, unwinding with her pups Nellie and Mabel, or adventuring with her husband Dan. With their two sons now grown, Erin is embracing the freedom of this next chapter with curiosity, calm, and purpose.
